GARMIN ENJOYS SUCCESSFUL DAY AT QVC

West Chester, PA (October 9, 2007) — Garmin, a leader in automotive, mobile, outdoor, fitness, marine, and aviation navigation, had a successful day on QVC, resulting in the sellout of a specially packaged GPS (Global Positioning System) Today’s Special Value® with more than 51,000 units ordered.

Each day, QVC offers one Today’s Special Value® item, an item at an exceptionally low price that is good for that day only until 11:59 p.m. ET, unless it sells out sooner.

As a Today’s Special Value® item, the Garmin nüvi 250W GPS Navigation System with 4.3-inch Diagonal Screen received its first on-air exposure on October 6, 2007 at Midnight ET and aired again in six shows, selling out by 4 p.m. ET. The unit, which features a 4.3-inch diagonal widescreen display, turn-by-turn, voice-guided directions, and millions of points of interest, came with an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery, vehicle suction cup mount, DC power supply, dashboard disk, and set-up-and-go guide.

“We are very happy that the QVC customer responded so positively to the Garmin offer,” said Dennis D’Angelo, director of merchandising for QVC. “Industry predictions have indicated that GPS systems will be a hot holiday gift item this year. Based on the results, QVC has validated this.”
